Technical Consultant Position

Job Summary:       

An exciting new position for a self motivated technical consultant with experience in MS 2K-2003, Exchange, ISA and Networking and security.

This opportunity will allow the right candidate to be involved in project work, disaster recovery solutions, R&D, planning, implementation and delivery of networks and security systems.
The ideal candidate will be motivated with customer skills and be able work to a high level of professionalism while retaining our company’s ethos of friendly service.
               
This multifunctional role of client facing consultancy and project management combines elements of leading edge Research and Development and customer business analysis and support.
Our dynamic company aims to provide our customers with the best products and services demanded by today's demanding corporate IT users, whilst retaining the small company ethos of professionalism and friendly service.

Working alongside a dedicated team of professionals you will be able exercise your skills to plan, implement and deliver technical solutions to a wide range of clientele.
New business opportunities, emergent technologies and systems implementation will ensure both the personal and technical development of the ideal candidate.

The ideal candidate will require experience in most Microsoft products, be able to conceptualise and implement project-orientated networking and security solutions.

Required Skills:

  • MS Windows server 2K & 2003
  • TCP/IP
  • MS Exchange all versions
  • Communications, Firewalls and Network Security.
  • IIS & Terminal Services and hands-on  hardware experience would also be a  benefit.

Junior IT Helpdesk Engineer

Job Description:

  • Dual-rolled position combining 1st level telephone IT helpdesk support and Client-site support and implementations.
  • Experience in office IT support or IT Helpdesk environment would be a benefit but not essential.

Useful skills:

  • Windows 2000 and 2003 Server
  • Exchange 2k and 03 Server / Client
  • MS Windows 2K & XP
  • MS Office – All recent versions.
  • Active Directory,
  • TCP/IP
  • A basic knowledge of PC hardware and printing would be helpful.
